Helpful Tips and the Ranking
I did some searching online for some tips on how to lose weight because who wouldn't want a little extra help and advice, right? So, after a lot of work on my part (I think I may have lost weight doing this) here are the ten latest diets. Feel free to take a look and see if one will work for you!:) The ranking is below!
1. The Internet Diet. You lose weight because you're so addicted to being online, you don't eat for days at a time.
2. The Fantasy Diet. You eat a Collard Wrap while fantasizing you're really eating Death by Chocolate.
3. The Play With Your Food Diet. You're so busy making a castle out of your mashed potatoes, you forget to eat them.
4. The Food Chess Diet. You and a friend play chess using food tidbits as chess pieces. You are only allowed to eat when you capture your friend's players. You lose the game and you lose weight.
5. The Rolling Table Diet. You sit on a chair on wheels, trying to eat at a table on wheels. The motorized floor under your table is constantly shifting, so you don't get to eat much, and thus lose weight. (This is similar to The Seasick Diet, but takes place in your own land-lubbing home.)
6. The Fisherman's Diet. A fisherman holds a pole whose end is attached to a morsel of food in your mouth. Every time you try to bite down on the food, the fisherman pulls the food away.
7. The Puffed Food Diet. All your favorite foods are re-made in the style of puffed wheat or puffed rice. Your Cheese Ravioli is now mostly air, so you don't gain any weight.
8. The Mock Puffed Food Diet. In this diet, all the foods you like to eat are made of styrofoam, to resemble the Puffed Food Diet. Now you can't eat the food at all. (You try to, and spit it out.) You really lose weight.
9. The Edible Flowers Diet. You are only allowed to eat edible flowers. You get bored with them and eat nothing, thus lose weight.
10. The Love Diet. You munch playfully on your sweetheart's hand. You gain no calories; you lose weight. Your sweetheart loses interest in you because s/he preferred you with love handles.

Jack Pot Weight Loss-Round #2!
I hope everyone is starting off the first week of our contest well. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm really excited to shed some more pounds and get my body in shape and healthier. Good Ideas
Here are some great recipie ideas that Jess sent me to put on the blog. Enjoy!
Breakfast shake: buy some brown bananas on sale, peel them, and freeze. Then I throw in a whole banana, some skim milk (or soy), ice, and sometimes some vanilla yogurt. If you like it sweeter, you can do some honey. Makes a great breakfast, lunch, or snack.
Also found a nice treat idea (thanks biggest loser recipe book). Buy some fat free cool whip, and make some cool whip sandwiches with graham crackers. Freeze, and enjoy. Some places you can get the flavored cool whip!

Here's your motivation
I know it's hard to keep motivated from week to week, even though there is a nice little pot of money at the end of the rainbow, I thought it would be nice to have some extra motivation. Whoever has the highest percentage of weight loss for just this next week....so from today to Wednesday, March 3....gets their own special prize. I would tell you what it is, but surprises are more fun, don't you think?! Just say, "NO!" Tuesdays
Alrighty folks, tomorrow is weigh-in day! So, today try to have the motto "Just say NO!" Just say, "NO!" to that extra helping, to the sweet treat after lunch...or dinner...or anytime, to that coupon saying you could get a good deal on pizza, to that cozy spot on the couch, to that little voice in your head telling you it doesn't matter if you munch here and there on goodies.....it does! Say, "Yes!" to playing outside in the snow or going on a walk, to that workout video that's hiding somewhere behind all your other ones, to having veggies with your meal! We can do it, together!

So, has everybody weighed themselves? Remember this starting weight, because in three months time, we will all look back at that number and laugh in it's face.
I find that laughing really works my abs, so here are a few dieting jokes to get our six packs on their way.
" A blonde is terribly overweight, so her doctor puts her on a diet. "I want you to eat regularly for two days, then skip a day, and repeat this procedure for two weeks. The next time I see you, you'll have lost at least five pounds."
When the blonde returns, she's lost nearly 20 pounds. "Why, that's amazing!" the doctor says. "Did you follow my instructions?"
The blonde nods. "I'll tell you, though, I thought I was going to drop dead that third day."
"From hunger, you mean?" asked the doctor.
"No, from skipping."
"You have to stay in shape.
My mother started walking five miles a day when she was 60.
She's 97 now and we have no idea where she is."
"Chocolate is a vegetable. How, you ask? Chocolate is derived from cacao beans. Bean = vegetable. Sugar is derived from either sugar CANE or sugar BEETS. Both are plants, which places them in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable."
