First Weeks Percentages

Well, we don't have all the numbers in yet, but I'll continue to post them as they come. For now, Gary is in our #1 spot this week! Congrats Gary! Just say, "NO!" Tuesdays

Alrighty folks, tomorrow is weigh-in day! So, today try to have the motto "Just say NO!" Just say, "NO!" to that extra helping, to the sweet treat after lunch...or dinner...or anytime, to that coupon saying you could get a good deal on pizza, to that cozy spot on the couch, to that little voice in your head telling you it doesn't matter if you munch here and there on goodies.....it does! Say, "Yes!" to playing outside in the snow or going on a walk, to that workout video that's hiding somewhere behind all your other ones, to having veggies with your meal! We can do it, together!

So, has everybody weighed themselves? Remember this starting weight, because in three months time, we will all look back at that number and laugh in it's face.
I find that laughing really works my abs, so here are a few dieting jokes to get our six packs on their way.

" A blonde is terribly overweight, so her doctor puts her on a diet. "I want you to eat regularly for two days, then skip a day, and repeat this procedure for two weeks. The next time I see you, you'll have lost at least five pounds."
When the blonde returns, she's lost nearly 20 pounds. "Why, that's amazing!" the doctor says. "Did you follow my instructions?"
The blonde nods. "I'll tell you, though, I thought I was going to drop dead that third day."
"From hunger, you mean?" asked the doctor.
"No, from skipping."


"You have to stay in shape.
My mother started walking five miles a day when she was 60.
She's 97 now and we have no idea where she is."


"Chocolate is a vegetable. How, you ask? Chocolate is derived from cacao beans. Bean = vegetable. Sugar is derived from either sugar CANE or sugar BEETS. Both are plants, which places them in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable."
